• JOB DESCRIPTION This position is for the Communications, Media & Entertainment (CME) vertical. The ask of this position is for the telecom SME to continuously scan the telco industry landscape and develop new business services for the CME vertical. This is an individual contributor role. Roles & Responsibilities of this position
• A good knowledge of current business services prevalent in the BPO/BPM industry.
• A good knowledge of competition on the BPO/BPM market.
• Considerably good knowledge of Telcom industry trends and market outlook, key technology changes and its impact on business operations.
• Considerably good knowledge of the entire telecom technology landscape from A to Z. This position requires a very wide coverage of the various telecom technologies, networks, OSS, BSS, TEMS, Billing solutions, Carrier services, Managed Services, Security services etc. Depth of knowledge could be limited to basic operations.
• Working knowledge of IT platforms and automation tools currently used for telecom operations.
• A vision to understand and predict where the telecom industry is heading towards in the near future.
• The position requires the SME to be very strong in secondary research and data analysis. Company has limited access to primary research data and industry analysts.
• The SME is required to conduct research and be able to visualize areas in the telecom industry where there is a need for specialized business services which are currently either not being provided in the BPO/BPM industry or are available in limited scale.
• In both cases of such specialized business services, the SME should be able to collect and publish market data from identifiable sources to justify getting into such services to the leadership.
• If such services are to be bundled with an IT tool/platform, the SME should be able to identify some potential tool/platform partners, evaluate their offerings and make recommendation to the company leadership on the best options available.
• The SME will present his recommendations and justifications thereof of the specialized business services, to the global sales leadership, industry analysts to seek their feedback and recommendations.
• The SME should be able to identify the skill sets required to deliver such specialized services. The SME should be able to take ownership of the initial delivery of such services.
• Once management approval for such specialized services is received, the SME shall develop the initial sales pitch presentation.
• The SME shall help generate a sales pipeline by identifying opportunities in new as well as existing clients using a combination of GTM initiatives like proactive outreach to prospects, engaging with industry analysts and advisors, leveraging existing relationships etc.
• Prepare collaterals like brochures, flyers, POVs, presentations, case studies, white papers, presentations and other reusable content for sales pitches and solution walk-throughs.
• Provide thought leadership by proactively understanding the changes in the telecom industry and changing value propositions.

• Customer oriented mindset: able to understand between the lines clients needs and create customized solutions.
• Good communications, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with global and diverse teams.
• Display sustained energy and determination to meet stringent timelines and challenging deliverables
Educational Qualifications & Experience needed:
• MBA/BE in telecom or electronics with good academic background.
• Min 15 years of experience working in the telecom industry.
