Introduction:
Responsible for the overall vendor management control and delivery of Business Critical Programmes/Projects. Demonstrates business analyst expertise by creation of project deliverables that meet or exceed the needs of the stakeholders. Directs, manages and controls team members, including other project managers, vendors and external suppliers, to deliver the required project quality, cost and delivery timeframes. Must be able to deliver the complex regulatory and application changes in Oracle UBS product suite.
What will you be doing?
• Ensure the end-to-end corporate banking solutions are fully developed and tested, ready for go live, in line with requirements you would have defined and agreed with the relevant business owners.
• Coordinate, prepare and execute testing in collaboration with the project team and all Barclays Business Units stakeholders of India and UAE involved on the programme.
• Have worked on Oracle UBS product modules like accounts, CIF, Payments, SWIFT messaging. Knows the underlying database structure and how the business products are defined in UBS.
• Has worked with core banking applications and have worked on surround integrations for the core banking application.
• Ensure that the requirements agreed with business are analysed and solution provided as per agreed architectural principles.
• Carries out vendor management to ensure that requirements are delivered in agreed cost and time with acceptable quality of delivery.
• Define interfaces with external systems based upon the requirements. Define data migration requirements if any. Provide functional inputs to the testing team to define test strategy.
• Reprioritises own activities to respond to new information and changing requirements whilst staying focussed on results
• Seeks the advice of stakeholders to better create clarity in complex situations, understand problems, evaluate options and make decisions
Identify, assess and manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate via the agreed governance framework.
