Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and assist with stocking new products
Promote store promotions and educate customers on product features and benefits
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately
Skills
Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
Supervising or leadership experience in retail or similar environments is a plus
Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and engage customers effectively
Bilingual skills to communicate with diverse customer bases are highly valued
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for professional interactions
Strong upselling techniques to boost sales while maintaining customer satisfaction
Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math for inventory management
Customer service expertise with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is beneficial but not required
