Key Responsibilities: •
Conduct independent SMSF audits in accordance with SIS Act, SIS Regulations, and ATO requirements.
Review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, member statements, and compliance reports.
Identify compliance breaches and prepare management letters with clear recommendations.
Assess fund investment strategies, contributions, pension payments, rollovers, and compliance with related party rules.
Ensure timely completion of audits and maintain high-quality professional standards.
Communicate audit findings to clients and internal teams with professionalism and clarity.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SMSF audit regulations, ATO guidelines, and industry best practices.
Work collaboratively with compliance and accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications & Skills: Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of strong work experience in SMSF Auditing (mandatory). Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of SMSF regulations, SIS Act, and ATO audit requirements. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple audits with strict deadlines.
High attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
Proficiency in SMSF audit software and working knowledge of Class Super/BGL preferred.
