About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Snowflake data warehouse in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability and performance of the database, as well as implementing and maintaining database security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• - Oversee day-to-day operation and management of the Snowflake data warehouse.
• - Optimize Snowflake database for speed and efficiency, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
• - Implement and maintain database security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC).
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements.
• - Monitor Snowflake usage, costs, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for cost optimization.
• - Ensure smooth data migrations and integrations with other systems.
• - Provide on-call support for critical database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications
• - Minimum of 6 years of experience in database administration, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake.
