SNP Warehouse Worker
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to support our Student Nutrition Program. This role plays a key part in ensuring nutritious food is delivered to schools, food banks, and partner organizations across Southeastern New Brunswick.

Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports To: Director of Warehouse Operations / Membership, Programs and Services Manager
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, store, and distribute food and supplies in compliance with safety standards and the FDA Policy Manual.
· Pick, pack, and label orders; print and file distribution receipts and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
· Assist with product pickup and delivery, providing courteous service to all partners and vendors.
· Record inventory transactions accurately using internal systems.
· Assist in regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify accuracy.
· Maintain appropriate inventory levels and resolve discrepancies with the supervisor.
· Ensure food is stored safely and any expired/damaged items are disposed of appropriately.
· Monitor for pests and support the rodent control program.
· Conduct daily cooler/freezer temperature checks and equipment inspections.
· Perform and log daily checks on trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
· Support monthly preventative maintenance activities.
· Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing food.
· Respond to supervisor and management requests in a timely manner.
· Fill in for the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.
· Support SNP fundraising and special events, which may require occasional work outside regular hours.
What We’re Looking For:
Physically able to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and operating equipment.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer knowledge for inventory systems and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse, logistics, or food handling experience is an asset.
Education & Language Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with varying temperatures (including cold storage).
Regular physical activity includes lifting, bending, and operating machinery.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.55-$1+.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
