Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure consistent execution of social media activities including post creation, editing, publishing, and engagement. The position supports daily content operations so that brand pages remain active, trend aligned, and professionally managed without delays or quality gaps.
Role Overview
The Social Media & Content Intern supports end to end social media execution. Responsibilities include handling Instagram pages, editing reels, designing graphics, writing captions, adding hashtags, tracking trends, and coordinating with the content team. The role provides hands on exposure to digital content operations in an execution focused environment.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. Social Media Page Handling: Manage Instagram and assigned social media pages with regular posting, updates, and engagement activities.
2. Post Creation & Publishing: Create captions, upload posts and reels, add hashtags, and schedule content as per calendar.
3. Video Editing: Edit reels and short videos with trending music, transitions, and basic effects.
4. Graphic Designing: Design posters, creatives, and templates using Canva and similar tools.
5. Trend Tracking: Monitor trending formats, music, and competitor content for idea generation.
6. AI Tool Usage: Use AI tools for captions, ideation, design support, and workflow improvement.
7. Content Coordination: Connect with content and strategy team to execute planned content.
8. Multi Task Execution: Handle multiple content pieces and deadlines in parallel.
Required Knowledge & Skills
1. Basic understanding of Instagram content formats and hashtags
2. Proficiency in Canva and mobile or PC video editing tools
3. Familiarity with AI tools for content creation
4. Ability to write simple and clear captions
5. Basic visual sense and creativity
