Job Description
Xtra-Mile, a global B2B marketing agency, is looking for a Content Writer to develop and integrate content marketing strategies and products to support campaigns and initiatives for diverse companies. You’ll be a key player in developing the strategy for and production of content for external and internal clients, working closely with account leads.
Our ideal candidate would have experience developing cybersecurity content strategies and assets for demand generation campaigns across the buyer's journey, as well as for visibility, thought leadership, social media, website SEO and more.
To be successful in this role someone must have a passion for cybersecurity and exhibit analytical skills and editorial craftsmanship with the ability to produce quality content at a rapid but manageable pace. The Content Writer will be in charge of :
Responsibilities:
• Understand, develop and grow results of security-focused content for internal and external clients.
• Write, edit, curate, produce, publish, and promote industry-leading content including: emails, landing pages, social media content, blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, listicles, infographics, security and threat briefs, videos, etc.
• Develop, implement, and track performance of an editorial strategy and roadmap for cybersecurity content.
• Analyze current content inventory across sites and delivery models.
• Perform content audits and gap analysis. Review existing material to determine what is relevant, consistent, redundant, or missing for each target audience.
• Research and analyze audience needs, preferences, objectives, and methods. Study and understand how users consume content across their product or project lifecycle.
• Interview clients, experts, and other stakeholders to develop content foundations with unique storytelling impact and original insights.
• Efficiently guide internal and external agencies, vendors, creative teams, and copywriters.
• Stay up to date on emerging threats and needs within the cybersecurity landscape to make content strategy recommendations and changes.
Job Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional content creation experience in high tech or B2B SaaS
• Experience in developing content for both business and technical audiences
• Native fluency in English is a must (spoken and written)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
