Job Summary
The Social Media Director will lead the company’s social media strategy across all business verticals. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and reputation management through effective social media planning and execution. The position will also oversee the marketing team, ensuring alignment between social media initiatives and overall business and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for all company verticals aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
• Define brand voice, content standards, and platform-wise positioning across all social media channels.
• Identify emerging trends, platforms, and tools to keep the company ahead in digital engagement.
Team Management & Collaboration
• Lead, mentor, and manage the social media and digital marketing team.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, HR, Operations, and Business Heads to ensure unified messaging.
• Work closely with design, content, and performance marketing teams for integrated campaigns.
Social Media Management
• Oversee daily management of all social media accounts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.).
• Ensure consistent content publishing, community engagement, and response management.
• Monitor brand mentions, comments, messages, and reviews, ensuring timely and professional responses.
Content & Campaign Execution
• Plan and approve content calendars for all verticals.
• Drive campaign ideation for product launches, brand campaigns, recruitment branding, and corporate communication.
• Ensure high-quality content creation including posts, videos, reels, stories, and ads.
Performance & Analytics
• Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
• Prepare periodic reports on reach, engagement, leads, and ROI.
• Optimize strategies based on insights and performance metrics.
Paid & Influencer Strategy
• Oversee paid social media campaigns in coordination with performance marketing teams.
• Identify and manage influencer collaborations and partnerships relevant to different verticals.
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, legal compliance, and platform policies.
• Manage crisis communication and online reputation issues, if any.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, or a related field
• 7–10+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role
• Experience handling multi-brand or multi-vertical social media accounts preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
