We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as a Social Media Executive. As a social media executive at GeekyAnts, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media accounts and community channels. You will work closely with different teams to generate engaging and informative content that aligns with our brand’s vision and values.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain GeekyAnts' social media presence on various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and reach.
Create and curate compelling content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with our target audience.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and developments in the tech industry to identify relevant content opportunities.
Collaborate with different teams, such as marketing creatives, design, and development, and business development to generate organizational-wide content for social media platforms.
Engage with our online community by fostering discussions, organizing contests, and initiating conversations around tech-related topics.
Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Keep abreast of emerging social media platforms and explore new opportunities for GeekyAnts' social media presence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Managing social media accounts for personal or professional purposes is preferred but not required.
Strong passion for technology, social media, and digital marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging and shareable content.
Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Familiarity with social media trends, best practices, and platform algorithms.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
