At STRI we are hiring for our clients who are an International Cosmetic Brand supplying the film, theater, television, beauty & fashion industry.
We are looking for a Social Media Executive for their Indian Offices- position based in Chennai.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Developing, managing and implementing Social Media Marketing communication plans and strategies for the Indian market; across multiple customer touch points and pages.
• Social Media Marketing; You will be responsible for implementing a strategy on a monthly basis, implementing daily posts & stories as well as taking care of the extensive community management across the channels.
• In order to build a successful social media plan, you will have to lead and instruct the POS and Make-up Artist teams to create relevant content for all social media channels, keeping in mind the defined strategy and goals
• Social Media:
• Handling the brands India's social media platforms
• Content creation for all relevant local social media channels
• Local research across social media channels in India
• Community management across all Indian social media channels
• Sourcing social media posts, sharing's and communication opportunities
• PR activity during expos and events through social media
• Connecting with Bloggers and influencers to increase the awareness and visibility of the brand in India.
• Staying on top of the trend and optimizing page whenever required.
• With the appropriate teams you will define goals for campaigns, exhibitions and events;
• You will be responsible for preparing all relevant communication material with the graphic design team to reach the defined goals.
• With the appropriate teams you will define goals for seminars and workshops and prepare all communication accordingly.
• You will be responsible for handling advertisements and editorials in subscribed magazines keeping the overall defined goals in mind.
• Conducting Market & Competitors Research.
• Supporting sales department to achieve sales targets through defined local campaigns e.g. focus products.
• Monthly and campaign-based reports and analysis
• Monthly newsletter for ASPs (Authorized Service Partners) as well as for our customers online.
• Overseeing and handling the companys marketing budget
Requirements
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent in Marketing / Marketing Communications
• ∙Relevant experience of minimum 1-3 years in Marketing / Marketing Communications
• ∙Excellent communication and writing skills
• ∙Good at content creation.
• ∙Good at negotiations and co-ordination skills
• ∙Good organization and planning skills
• ∙Social media expertise
• ∙Digitally savvy and trend focused
• ∙Ability to multitask
• ∙Able to work autonomously
• Strong People and Team Management
