Role Overview
We’re looking for a digitally fluent, trend-obsessed Global Content & Culture Specialist to help drive our content ideation and calendar planning for international clients in the fashion, beauty, music, and Gen Z entertainment space.
You’ll be responsible for spotting what’s trending across UK/US platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads IG, X), shaping story-led short-form content ideas, and keeping our social storefronts fresh, culturally relevant, and tied to our long-form YouTube shows.
What You'll Do
● Research and monitor global fashion, pop culture, and music trends — especially UK & US
● Build content calendars using platform-specific trends (TikTok, Reels, Snapchat, Shorts)
● Ideate daily content based on influencer activity, viral moments, creator formats, and events
● Use existing footage, internet references, memes, music, and creator content to build "shoot-free" ideas
● Position Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X and Snapchat, as daily storefronts for our YouTube episodes
● Track entertainment calendars (award shows, concerts, launches) and align content accordingly
● Collaborate with the editing and design team to bring ideas to life visually
● Make content that hooks in the first 2 seconds — and feels platform-native and culturally in sync
● Help shape the digital voice, tone, and aesthetic of the client’s social presence
● Track and report fashion, beauty & entertainment trends from UK/US markets
● Follow top creators, music/fashion events, and pop culture moments relevant to Gen Z
● Create platform-specific social content ideas (Insta, TikTok, Snapchat) even when original video shoots aren't available
● Repurpose global content, memes, influencer clips into relevant storylines aligned with the brand
● Maintain and manage a weekly content calendar with moodboards, references, and concepts
● Collaborate with the in-house and client team to ensure storytelling, voice, and visuals align
You’re a Good Fit If You
● Have 1+ years of experience in social content, pop culture research, or influencer marketing
● Follow UK/US-based beauty and fashion creators like it's your job
● Are fluent in trends, aesthetics, and creator culture
● Follow top creators, trends, and campaigns across UK/US Gen Z audiences
● Understand what formats work on TikTok, Reels, Snapchat & Shorts — and how they differ
● Are endlessly curious, extremely online, and fast with ideas
● Can turn cultural moments into content calendars
● Bonus: Worked on international entertainment, beauty, or fashion brands
