Job Description for Social Media Executive
We are looking for a Social Media Executive who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news).
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
• Delivering results on key performance metrics.
• Developing and implementing strategies for companies' social media pages with a primary focus on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram & YouTube.
• Monitor SEO, SEM, and web traffic metrics.
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
• Design, and manage Social media Advertising campaigns and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
• Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends and Stay up-to-date with current technologies in social media, design tools, and applications.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Job Qualifications and skill sets:
• 1+ years of work experience as a Social media Executive and also experience in digital marketing.
• Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in content management.
• Experience with Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube Ads
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing channels.
• Knowledge of software e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Tailwind, Sprout Social, Meet edger, Hashtagify, keyhole, trends map, Ahrens, Stack edit, one tab, stay focused, todo list, near AdSense, mailer lite, Mailchimp, etc. will be an addition.
• Familiarity with web design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and multitasking skills.
