Job Description: Social Media Manager
Position Overview: We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. This role requires an understanding of current digital trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze and grow online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Strategy:
Develop and implement creative social media content that aligns with brand goals and marketing strategies.
Write, edit, and curate engaging posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia content for various platforms.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep the social media presence fresh and engaging.
Social Media Management:
Oversee day-to-day management of social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging.
Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers to foster community interaction.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns, such as engagement rates, traffic, conversions, and overall growth.
Create monthly or quarterly reports for senior management with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, ad copywriting, and monitoring performance.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Community Engagement:
Build and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
Monitor and manage social media conversations to protect and promote the brand’s reputation.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments such as marketing, design, and product to ensure social media content aligns with broader marketing strategies.
Provide feedback on customer behavior and trends to help improve products and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (2+ years) in social media management or digital marketing.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas and concepts.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns or projects at once.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting social media performance data.
Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Experience in influencer marketing and community management.
Ability to adapt to new social media platforms and emerging trends.
