Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Manager
Location: The Fat Ox – Banff, AB
Hours: 8–20 hours/week

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and driven Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team and lead the charge in bringing the spirit of The Fat Ox to life online. You’ll be responsible for content creation, strategy, and helping us build a loyal digital community that drives guests through the door.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, create, and schedule weekly content (photo/video/captions) across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Capture on-site content (food, cocktails, staff, guest moments, events)
Work closely with our GMs and Marketing Team to promote weekly specials, events, and campaigns
Respond to comments and DMs, engaging with our audience in a voice that feels authentic and fun
Keep our profiles up to date and on-brand
Occasionally assist with light graphic design (Canva or similar) for stories, posters, or promotions
Track insights and adjust content based on what’s working
What We’re Looking For:
Experience managing social media for hospitality, lifestyle, or retail brands
Strong eye for photography, reels, and storytelling
Solid writing skills — witty, clever, and clear
Proactive and self-sufficient – you don’t wait for direction, you bring ideas to the table
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Familiar with Banff or passionate about food & beverage/hospitality
Nice to Have:
Canva, Lightroom, or basic editing skills
Previous experience running paid ads (not required, but a bonus)
