Description
As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately grow our customer base. You will work closely with our marketing team to create and curate content that aligns with our brand messaging and promotes our products and services to our target audience. You will also be responsible for monitoring social media channels and analyzing social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately grow our customer base.
• Create and curate engaging content (e.g., copy, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand messaging and promotes our products and services to our target audience.
• Monitor social media channels and engage with our audience (e.g., respond to comments, messages, and mentions) to build relationships and foster a sense of community.
• Analyze social media metrics (e.g., impressions, reach, engagement, conversion, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies to ensure we are leveraging the most effective tactics to reach our target audience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, sales, etc.) to ensure social media efforts are aligned with broader business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
