As a social media manager, you will manage Heart It Out’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing quality content, analyzing data and trends, facilitating user experience and engagement, managing projects and campaigns. The role will also require you to take other marketing and communications responsibilities and decisions.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts by creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers.
Key Responsibilities
Suggest and implement new strategies to develop brand awareness, and drive engagement.
Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels and adapting content to suit different channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and more.
Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively)across multiple platforms.
Develop, launch and manage campaigns that promotes Heart It Out for products, diagnostics and other departments.
Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.
Undertake audience research and manage, facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.
Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
Recommend improvements to increase performance and set targets to increase brand awareness and increase engagement.
Manage, motivate and coach social media interns and educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within Heart It Out.
Manage a budget for social media activities and encourage collaboration across teams and departments.
Define most important social media KPIs and stay up to date with latest social media best practices.
Maintaining impact records, newsletter and other relevant documentation.
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
Eligibility
Studying or is a recent undergraduate in Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, Communication with a background in Psychology.
Has experience of 3+ years as a Social Media Manager having worked on content creation and curation for website and social media
Excellent multitasking skills
Familiarity with web design and publishing
Good time-management skills
Attention to detail
Great leadership skills
Intermediate knowledge on advertising, business management, journalism, media and communications, public relations.
Working Conditions
