About Colestown Chocolates:
Colestown Chocolates is a boutique chocolate company. All our beautiful artisan chocolates are produced by hand in small batches in our production kitchen in Remuera, using the finest couverture chocolate.
We have a retail store alongside our kitchen at 575 Remuera Road and we are also stocked at Farro Fresh and Flowers After Hours in Parnell.
About the Role:
As a small business we want to boost our digital presence and are looking for the right fit to help us do this! We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for a self-starter who enjoys content creation from concept to execution and is eager to champion our brand across various platforms. If you’re looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee our social media accounts, on Instagram, TikTok, and Meta.
Develop, create, and schedule engaging content that resonates with our audience.
Monitor and respond to social media interactions
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about content creation and storytelling.
Collaborative and a team player.
A university student in their 2nd or 3rd year of a marketing communications course, with search and social media content.
Available to work on Mondays (at least half a day)
Good at generating ideas and showing initiative, able to offer perspective and ideas.
Lives centrally- can easily get to our kitchen/store in Remuera
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Meta.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Proficiency in CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
Understanding of Shopify and Google Workspace is a bonus
