Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content along with a social media agency, managing the monthly content calendar, and handling the ORM. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a talented and driven Social Media and Content Marketing
executive to help administer our Social Media accounts and support Content
Marketing initiatives at LEAD. You will be responsible for creating original text and
video content along with a social media agency, managing the monthly content
calendar and handling ORM. You will also support on Internal Communications.
You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve LEAD's
marketing and, ultimately, business goals.
As a Marketing Executive, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital
technologies, and social media and content marketing trends. You should have
excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views
creatively, succinctly, and in a way that is meaningful for our stakeholders(school
owners, parents, teachers and students - the school ecosystem overall).
Ultimately, you should be able to help handle our social media presence ensuring
high levels of web traffic and customer engagement; and also help on all content
needs.
Must:
● Work closely with the social media agency, content marketing vendors,
internal teams and external stakeholders to provide necessary inputs to
build a monthly Marketing calendar and enhance engagement across
platforms.
● Liaise with agencies, as required, to ensure the brand, tone, style, and best
digital practices are incorporated into social media and content assets.
● Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
Implement best practices to build awareness and drive consideration for
the brand.
● Support on designing social media strategy to align with business goals.
● Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
● Provide support on generating, editing, publishing, and sharing engaging
content daily (e.g.original text, photos, videos, and news)
● Work in close collaboration with LEAD's paid marketing team to analyze
social media campaigns regularly.
● Provide full support in creating compelling content for LEAD in the form of
blogs, e-books, case studies, cheat sheets, landing pages, video scripts, app
notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, Email, etc.
● Publish blogs along with creative assets using WordPress editor.
● Refreshing old blogs and webpages using text and infographics (by liaising
with in-house designers)
● Create webinar presentations and promotional materials.
● Create fortnightly and monthly reports on content performance by liaising
with data analyst.
Should:
● Help strategise and define annual/quarterly objectives and targets for
social media and content marketing.
● Liaise with social media agencies on a regular basis to strategize, plan and
execute monthly engagement calendars. This should be in collaboration
with internal teams like Product, Technology, Academics, Marketing, HR,
etc.
● Evaluate monthly plans/campaigns, competition analysis, and revise plans
for the upcoming month(s) incorporating learnings.
● 2 - 3 yrs relevant experience handling social media and content (client-side
preferably)
● Top Tier 2/3 B-school/Institution
● Excellent writing skills, impeccable grammar and attention to detail, as
well as an ability to assess visual communication
● Experience in Content Marketing and Copywriting.
● Experience in writing for multiple audiences across a range of platforms.
● You will be comfortable working in a team, individually, and collaborating
with stakeholders across the organization.
● Desired proficiency in tools: Google Sheets; Google Slides; HubSpot; Google
Analytics; WordPress; Google Data Studio Dashboards; MS PowerPoint and
MS Excel; Canva; HubSpot; and Adobe Suite.
