Job Summary:
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage our online presence and engage our growing community of players, parents, and fans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sports marketing, content creation, and analytics, with a keen eye for storytelling and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.)
Plan, create, and schedule compelling content including photos, videos, graphics, and written posts
Cover academy events, training sessions, and matches with live social media updates
Collaborate with coaches, players, and staff to source authentic content and success stories
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement
Track performance metrics, generate insights, and adjust strategies based on analytics
Support digital campaigns and promotions for player sign-ups, merchandise, or events
Requirements:
Proven experience managing social media accounts (bonus points for sports-related brands)
Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut for content creation
Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and audience targeting
Basic photography and video editing skills (mobile or DSLR)
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work independently and attend academy events (some weekends or evenings required)
Preferred:
Background in soccer or a strong interest in the sport
Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling tools
