Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in New Delhi. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of managing and implementing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, implementing content strategies, optimizing social media platforms, and writing compelling social media posts. This may involve identifying target audiences, creating and running campaigns, amplifying content as well as monitoring and evaluating engagement across channels. While social media management will be the primary responsibility in this role, you will be expected to take on and contribute to other outreach and organisational priorities as well. You will be working under the close mentorship and guidance of the Outreach Coordinator.
Responsibilities
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Qualifications
• Social Media Marketing and PR branding skills
• Must have experience with social media platforms - LinkedIn
• Experience in developing content strategies
• Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
