Social Media Specialist
Location: Remote
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Operations Manager
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and data-driven Social Media Specialist to lead our social media presence across multiple platforms on behalf of home service contractor clients. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media trends, a passion for local brand storytelling, and the ability to grow contractor audiences through engaging, platform-native content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement social media strategies: Create engaging content calendars, campaigns, and initiatives that align with the overall marketing goals and brand identity
Content creation and curation: Produce high-quality, platform-specific content (text, images, videos) that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement
Trend monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Identify emerging opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
GoHighLevel (GHL) Platform Management: Use GHL Social Planner to schedule, queue, and manage posts across all connected client social accounts. Set up and maintain GHL social media workflows and automations supporting lead follow-up and review generation
Lead Tracking: Collaborate with the GHL specialist to ensure the pipelines reflect social-driven leads and inquiries
Community Management & Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and mentions across all client platforms in a timely and brand-consistent manner. Engage with local community pages, neighborhood groups, and relevant industry conversations
Social Media Reputation Management: Assist in managing online reputation by coordinating review request campaigns and flagging review responses for approval
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2+ years of experience in social media management
Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective algorithms
Proficiency in social media analytics tools
Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design and video editing software
Knowledge of social media advertising platforms
Experience with GHL automations, snapshots, or CRM workflows
