Job Description
Assist in the management of SCU's social media content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives and organizational goals.
Research current social media trends and provide new content ideas that align with the brand.
Provide support in the creation, publishing, and sharing of new content (including original text, images, and video) to build meaningful member connections, increase brand awareness, and encourage community members to engage with the brand.
Assist in the daily management of social media accounts, including posting, scheduling, and responding to comments and messages, while ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice across all platforms.
Take and post videos, photos and other social media content during SCU company events.
Monitor the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a content calendar. Plan and schedule posts to ensure consistent, timely and relevant content is delivered.
Availability to attend and support at company events outside of regular business hours in both the Winnipeg and Steinbach trade area.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary marketing program with an accredited college or university.
Proficiency in social media monitoring platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc).
Experience working in Video platforms, Canva, and Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset.
Self‑motivated with strong storytelling and organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
