We blend data-driven strategies with jaw-dropping creativity, and we need a Video Editor who lives and breathes social media trends to join our creative strike team.
The Role
You'll be the swiss army knife of social content: editing raw footage, crafting thumb-stopping hooks, and packaging ideas into viral-ready videos. You'll work
hand-in-hand
with our Motion Graphics Designer to turn scripts and rough cuts into polished, platform-optimized stories that drive engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Edit & Produce Cut, splice, and color-grade high-energy videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and ads. Add motion graphics, text animations, and SFX (with support from our Motion Designer). Edit long-form content (workshops, courses) into snackable social clips. Content Creation Film (occasionally) and edit raw footage into cohesive narratives. Design static graphics (thumbnails, carousels) in Photoshop/Illustrator. Adapt one piece of content into 5+ platform-specific formats (e.g., TikTok → Instagram → Pinterest). Optimize & Analyze Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts (e.g., ideal TikTok cuts vs. YouTube pacing). A/B test hooks, captions, and CTAs to boost retention and conversion. Upload and schedule content using best practices for each platform. Collaborate Work closely with our Motion Designer to integrate animations seamlessly. Partner with marketers and artists to elevate their raw ideas into compelling stories.
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have…
2–5 years of experience editing for social media (
agency or freelance hustle preferred
). Portfolio of viral-style edits (show us hooks, pacing, and platform adaptation). Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (
DaVinci Resolve? Cool too
). Own a reliable PC/Mac that handles 4K editing and motion graphics renders. UK-timezone flexibility (for client syncs and deadlines).
Bonus Points For
Basic 3D/compositing skills (e.g., simple Blender/Cinema 4D integrations). Experience with social analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Creative Center). A love for music/art niches (you "get" creator culture).
