Job Description
We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). The position holder will work closely with the marketing team to produce short-form videos, promotional content, and ads that capture the attention of our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand content goals and strategy.
- Create engaging video content tailored to specific social media formats and audience preferences.
- Optimize video content for performance across different platforms (e.g., resizing, aspect ratios, and resolution).
- Add graphics, captions, music, and effects to enhance video quality.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, video editing techniques, and platform requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of content and meet deadlines for scheduled posts.
- Maintain video archives and organize files for easy access.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with social media content.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with audio editing and motion graphics is a plus.
