The last 2 decades have seen an increasing disconnect between industry and academia - this has resulted in academia not meeting industry standards and thereby students becoming unemployable. Skill-Lync is a Y-Combinator (201+) start-up that is solving this problem at scale leveraging technology and an ecosystem of industry experts, engineer-trainers, and offline centers.
• Requirements:
- Need someone from Tech Background (specially engineering) or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or Journalism
- 1-2 yrs of prior experience as a Social Media Copywriter
- Experience with various social networks and platforms for advertisement purposes
- Sound knowledge of keyword research, SEO and analytics tools, especially Google Analytics
- Familiarity with paid advertisement
- Proficiency in English
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- A keen eye for details
- An analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
• Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing and publishing engaging posts for social media networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc)
- Optimizing social media content (language, message, tone) on the basis of the behavior of our target audience
- Networking with influencers as well as industry professionals
- Tracking and reporting on social media insights (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversion rates, shares etc.)
- Coordinating with internal teams for creating advertising posts (e.g. for product releases, events and open roles)
