KSC 1 A proven ability to deliver high quality programs, information sessions, counselling, support and interventions for children aged between 5 and 12 years of age.
KSC 2 Knowledge and skills in the area of parent engagement and family support (eg referrals, NDIS applications, goal setting).

Role
As a member of the Student Wellbeing Team:
You will provide intervention, welfare support and guidance to students and parents. To act as the schools Social Worker in supporting the educational, social and emotional development of students with a focus on Primary prevention, Early Intervention and restoring and maintaining Wellbeing.
Duties are to include:
To work collaboratively with other members of the WPPS Wellbeing Team and the school Leadership Team, classroom teachers and other Education Support Staff at Wyndham Park Primary School.
Develop and implement programs for students identified with educational, social or emotional concerns, including PSD students.
Provide counselling services for individuals and facilitate groups including programs aimed at change in behaviour, building resilience and trauma informed techniques.
To review and evaluate programs on an ongoing basis using data.
Maintain appropriate records.
To provide written and oral reports as required.
To provide information, resources and support to teachers in relation to the educational management of students experiencing difficulties with their schooling. Eg Attendance and Engagement
To participate in and facilitate professional development activities at school, with the aim of increasing awareness and skills in the area of students, staff and family needs and behaviours.
To participate in the development of a whole school approach to student wellbeing, Respectful Relationships/SWPBS / BSEM framework and assist in addressing wellbeing issues in the school community
To carry out other duties as directed by the Principal and Assistant Principal
Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of support services to students, teachers, parents and other school clients.
Ensure all external providers deliver the required service.
