We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Communication Skills Trainer to join our team. As a Communication Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting training sessions on basic communication skills, group discussions, and mock personal interviews specifically designed for B-school aspirants. Your role will be crucial in equipping students with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in their B-school selection process.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on basic communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, and effective interpersonal skills.
Conduct interactive sessions on group discussions, providing students with techniques to express their ideas, engage in constructive debates, and effectively communicate in a group setting.
Organize and facilitate mock personal interviews, simulating real-life interview scenarios for B-school admissions, and providing valuable feedback and guidance to students.
Develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, handouts, and mock interview question banks, to support the training sessions.
Provide personalized coaching and guidance to students, addressing their specific strengths and areas of improvement in communication skills.
Evaluate students' performance through assessments, group exercises, and mock interviews, and provide constructive feedback for their continuous improvement.
Stay updated with current trends and industry expectations in B-school selection processes to ensure training content remains relevant and effective.
Collaborate with other trainers and staff members to create a cohesive and enriching learning environment for the students.
Build a rapport with students and motivate them to develop their communication skills, instilling confidence and self-assurance.
Continuously assess and enhance training methodologies to meet the evolving needs of students and improve the overall effectiveness of the training program.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Communication Skills Trainer or similar role, preferably with expertise in training B-school aspirants.
In-depth knowledge of basic communication skills, group discussion techniques, and interview preparation for B-school admissions.
Strong understanding of the B-school selection process and the expectations of top B-schools regarding communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students effectively.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills to deliver interactive and engaging training sessions.
Empathy and patience to work with students from diverse backgrounds and adapt training methods to suit their learning needs.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, motivating them to improve their communication skills.
Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules, materials, and assessments effectively.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and methodologies into training sessions.
Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Education, or a related field (preferred).
