Job Title: Embedded Linux & Software Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Linux & Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience in embedded software development, Linux kernel programming, and firmware development. This individual will be tasked with developing, testing, and optimizing embedded Linux systems for our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform BSP setups including U-Boot, Kernel, Rootfs, Toolchains, Makefiles, Device Trees, and Cross Compiling.
Develop firmware using Yocto Project, Buildroot, and PetaLinux for Xilinx FPGA.
Handle board bring-up and testing of new hardware.
Develop, port, and optimize Linux kernel and drivers.
Develop and integrate custom board U-boot configurations.
Integrate and troubleshoot third-party Yocto meta-layers into the main project.
Improve board support package (BSP) such as enhancing board boot time.
Develop and manage scripts and software for performance tests.
Work with Linux Based Embedded Systems like NXP iMX Family(ARM), BeagleBone Black(ARM), Raspberry Pi(ARM).
Develop network-based software (MQTT, ZeroMQ, TCP/IP, Socket).
Work with C-V2X chipsets, GNSS, IMU, and various SoC peripherals/interfaces.
Handle GSM and Wi-Fi ethernet configurations, MI-PI configurations for display and camera modules.
Develop GUI based software for HMI with QT/QML Framework.
Troubleshoot and fix issues reported by other dependent modules.
Manage and represent the firmware development team.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficient in programming languages: C, C++, Python.
Extensive experience with Bash Shell, Make, QMake, Automake, Gnu Compiler Collection, and Utils.
Familiarity with Qualcomm Telematics SDK, virtualization tools (Docker, Xen, KVM, VMware ESXi), servers (Apache Server, Nginx), databases (MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL, SQLite), and web development (Javascript, HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap).
Experience with communication peripherals (Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
Previous experience in a leadership or management role is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
