Senior Software Architect (Software Engineer)

SDP Solutions are a unique services provider that combines business Consulting, Sourcing and outsourced workforce management solutions. We are established business run by IT Sourcing, Consulting and HR and contingent workforce professionals.

We are seeking multiple full time Senior Software Architect (Software Engineer) to be based in Melbourne and Sydney for our clients. The roles involve running a highly specialised long-term project. The resources will be involved in the new project but they will also be involved in maintaining existing products and projects. We are expecting that they will be able to jointly lead projects in line with new technologies developed for our consulting partners and their customers.

These roles are for multiple projects running concurrently in Sydney and Melbourne. Salary offered will be proportionate to the skills and experience of the candidate.

Main Tasks:

Proficiency in SQL development
Software development in several languages (at a minimum we need people that are proficient in .Net C#, C++ and Java)
Develop software for both the MS Windows and also Linux environments
Identify integration issues and offer solutions
Develop necessary architecture for system and code them as necessary
Experience in setting up master data elements in a manner to best meet business requirements
Design, Develop, & Implement solutions.
LSA on Pega PRPC V 7 or 6.x.
3-5 years of Pega live project Experience
One end-to-end Pega project with 5.x and higher achieved.
Ensures that the application quality and design are of the highest standards.
Ensures that the application meets current business needs, but also supports future expansion for new features down the road.
Responsible for the Enterprise Class Structure and the overall application design.
Hands on experience in Design using PRPC and any frameworks.
Formulate best practices and design guide lines for the team.
Well versed with Integrations using PRPC and has designed the integration components.
Knowledge on Web Services Architecture (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, etc..), MQ series
Well versed in the SmartBPM and Agile methodologies
Should be able to perform design and code reviews and suggest best practices to the team
Should have experience in Performance tuning of applications
Resolves complex design and construction problems to meet specified objectives.
Ensures that developed systems meet performance considerations outlined in High Level Design.
Prepares High Level Designs and collate non-functional requirements
Provides estimates of time and resources required for delivering Projects and related artifacts applying agreed processes
Provides Technical inputs (dependencies, sequencing, risks etc) to assist the Project Manager with sizing and planning small to medium projects
Guide the team and mentor them as required.
Good knowledge of estimation techniques
Banking Domain knowledge desirable
