Position Purpose :
The
Software Automation Developer is responsible for development and execution of test automation initiatives for Brambles IT. In addition to test automation this role also requires expertise in areas of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Load & Performance Testing
Role involves high level of core technical skills in tools/technologies mentioned in skills & knowledge section.

Prioritize, Create, Schedule, and Maintain automated test scripts across global applications
Measures :
• Metrics: Cost vs Benefit Analysis. That is, reduction in manual effort spent on projects by leveraging automation while maintaining high quality, number of errors prevented, number of errors reduced post-production, number of permanent corrective actions implemented to reduce both types, cost of creating/maintaining automated testing. Effective use of automation tools, reducing total cost of ownership.
This role contributes IT to succeed in implementing and leveraging Automation Testing, RPA, Load/Performance testing for projects, thereby effectively improving quality of IT service delivered to Global IT and reducing overall cost/manual effort.
Major/Key Accountabilities :
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers and users to understand testing needs and identify opportunities for automated testing, RPA and performance testing.
• Ensure high quality of test automation scripts are developed where automation best practices are followed, and equal priority is given to both development and maintenance of test automation assets.
• Provide accurate reporting of problems identified during test execution and ensure test defects reported are managed through test lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test quality by undertaking reviews and recommending improvements.
Participate in the installation and upgrade processes of Worksoft, NeoLoad and Experitest mobile platforms

Qualifications :
Essential
• Experience in Software Automation Testing
• Experience in Load and Performance Testing
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent and relevant business experience
• Worksoft Certification preferred
Desired
• Worksoft Automation Certification
• Neoload Professional Certification
Experience :
• 3-5 years hands-on functional experience with Worksoft Certify, and QA testing tools (Zephyr Scale, Cucumber etc.)
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with NeoLoad performance testing tool set
• Familiar with API and UI test platforms, Postman, Cypress, Selenium, or any automation testing frameworks
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python or other programming languages.
• 3-5 years direct experience as a tester for major application integration and/or major application product release
• 3-5 years direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Automation Testing for SAP, Web, Mobile and Desktop based applications
Skills and Knowledge :
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (Worksoft Certify) preferred
• Knowledge of Performance Testing methods, specific knowledge in NeoLoad tool preferred
• Automation testing experience in automating SAP, SAP Fiori, HTML5, Mobile, Web-based and Salesforce applications preferred
• Familiar with API and UI test platforms, Postman, Cypress, Selenium, or any automation testing frameworks
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python or other programming languages.
• Demonstrated process-based approach to IT Service Delivery (e.g., ITIL)
• Build, and Maintain test scripts (full cycle- design, build, test, fix)
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Ability to collaborate with distributed team members with a results-oriented approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
