Software Delivery Software Engineer|Spring|Summer Co|Op

Opportunity Summary

Ribbon Communications is looking for a Spring-Summer Co-Op to join Ribbon’s Global Software Delivery team. The Co-op will work with GSD engineers on software upgrades, corrective content applications, and maintenance release updates to Ribbon’s portfolio of products. The Co-op will also validate upgrade processes and documentation in a lab environment to provide feedback for process improvement. In addition, the Co-op will have the opportunity to work in various functions in the GSD organization including corrective content delivery, site readiness and NPI (New Product Introduction).

Education And Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a University Degree seeking program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or other relevant technology focus programs.

• Position requires strong written and oral communications and the ability to function effectively as part of a team.

• The Co-Op will be expected to work in the office especially during the learning phase, with the possibility to move to a hybrid office/remote working schedule once trained.

• Ability to work on various operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, & Linux is desired.

• A candidate that is driven, enthusiastic, hardworking, a self-starter, eager to learn, and has a strong work ethic is desired.

• Previous Software Engineering work experience is not required.
