Job Description:
We are looking for talented Deployment Engineers to expand our deployment team in Chennai.
The successful candidate will focus on software deployments from development to production in a
reliable and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Within the Deployment team, your main role is to work on deploying, operating, and monitoring our
systems:
➢ You will take care of complex software installations and configuration in Dev, Quality Assurance,
Demo, and Production environments
➢ You will collaborate with different teams such as Development, Project Management, Client
support, etc.
➢ You will act as a requirement provider to developers of automated tools.
➢ You will contribute to the integration of software developed by different teams, and put in
place the tools to deploy it on different environments (development, test, demo, and client)
➢ You will write documentation and train users on software installation
Hard Skills:
➢ Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
➢ Strong working knowledge of Configuring and deploying applications built with Java
technologies (Jboss, Spring boot, Apache Camel, etc...)
➢ Experience with Jenkins
➢ Experience with Infrastructure Monitoring Tools (E.g., Nagios)
➢ Good knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.
➢ Good understanding of network transfer protocols HTTP, and FTP.
➢ Database Administration (MySQL)
➢ Comfortable with SQL and XML
➢ Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
➢ Familiar with source code management systems (Git/Bitbucket)
➢ Good to have Proficiency in any script languages (Python, Go, PowerShell)
➢ Good to have Configuration Management and Release Management knowledge
