Principal Software Engineer in Test

The candidate must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. He or she must have a "can-do" attitude, be self-directed in a fast-paced engineering environment, as well as working as part of a team. In addition, the individual must be flexible, dependable, and have excellent time management skills.
Role:
Ability to architect a comprehensive test automation framework in Python
- Ability to review an existing framework, maintain and improve it
- Ability to build UI frontend using Vue JS
- Experience in developing REST APIs using python
- Ability to integrate third-party tools and APIs
- Working with a global team of engineers, brainstorm and build consensus around solutions
- Has strong experience with cloud technologies, public cloud, and distributed systems
- Work closely with DEV, QA, PM, and Support to deliver high quality releases
- Be a self-starter and critical thinker who is passionate about developing highly innovative breakthrough technologies and has the resilience to make innovation happen
- Results oriented with a strong focus on quality
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in architecting test automation frameworks in Python
- Working experience with test automation using Python, Django, Docker
- Deep understanding of OSI model, networking, routing, switching, network and endpoint security
- Experience in public and private clouds: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, KVM, HyperV, VMWare
- Experience with SQL and non-SQL database
- Experience with UI automation and REST API testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems
- Deep understanding in agile methodology and network security appliances testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to represent and advocate complex technical concepts externally
- Highly self-motivated and directed, and keen attention to detail
