Brief Posting Description
The Applications Configuration Developer will have the opportunity to improve and maintain Oracle Retail products. The individual will analyze, config and test Oracle Retail software changes (including functional, technical and performance enhancements).
Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate pre-sake demo requirements. Specify design and implement modest changes to existing configuration of the application. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Work closely with pre-sale team, gather the requirement and implement the configuration changes as required.
Job Requirements
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A minimum of 5 years of software engineering or related experience required. Retail industry experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of RPAS platform is a plus. Experience in implementing and configuring RPAS based planning application.
Additional Details
Experience with the following required:
Strong RPAS configuration skill
Experience with RPAS config tool
Strong consulting experience in developing RPAS based planning application
Have implemented RPAS based planning application.
UNIX and shell scripting a plus.
PL/SQL is a plus
Oracle Cloud experience is a plus
