Description
We are looking to hire an OSS Engineer who can handle the implementation and support for Oracle CAGBU OSS line of products and solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting demo use cases, demo collaterals and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the pre-sales sales consulting engineers and sales representatives.
Expertise in relevant tools and technologies like Order Management, Network Inventory, Network Activation, Network Intelligence and Network Assurance is needed. Must have a good understanding of the communication networks and domains like 5G, broadband, site to site VPN, MPLS, FTTH etc.

Work You will do:
• Responsible for implementation, modification and support of Oracle Order Management (OSM) cartridges
• Responsible for implementation, modification and support of Oracle Unified Inventory (UIM) cartridges
• Responsible for implementation modification and support of Oracle Automated Service Activation Platform (ASAP) cartridges
• Build and support Cloud Native use cases for our OSS CN solution
• Provide technical support to CAGBU sales consultants
• Work closely with sales, engineering, marketing and product management to implement compelling use cases for tradeshows and customer demos and Proof-Of-Concepts (POCs)

Hands on Experience With Some Of The Following Technologies:
• JAVA, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, WebServices (REST / SOAP), RDBMS
• Scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Bash / Shell Scripting
• Excellent hands-on operating systems Linux/Unix/Windows
• Kubernetes, Jenkins, CloudLab, GitHub, Maven, NPM, docker registry
• Excellent hands-on operating systems Linux/Unix/Windows
• Monitoring and logging tools like: Prometheus, Grafana, EFK / ELK, Kibana
Good to have skills:
• Middleware: Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss
• Database: Oracle, Mysql, NoSql
• Microservices: Java (Spring, Helidon), NodeJS, Golang
• Understanding of TMF REST APIs
Soft Skills:
• Can operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment
• Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment
• Any Oracle certification is an advantage.
