Job Title: Software Developer / Engineer
We are seeking a bright and ambitious Software Developer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and interesting systems, learning and developing your skills alongside a talented group of individuals.
You will collaborate with our small but dedicated team to deliver our core platform within a Microsoft environment, using the latest versions of C# .Net to produce high-quality code. Once the Beta has been rolled out and tested, we have ambitious growth plans, making this an exciting time to be involved from the ground up and progress your career.
Location:
Our Central Newcastle offices are where you'll spend your working days (Monday to Friday) alongside your colleagues.
About You:
You hold a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top-tier university, backed by strong A-level results.
You're a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem-solving, working on complex distributed systems.
You possess strong backend coding skills, with experience in languages such as Java, Python, or Full Stack. You're happy to use C# .Net going forward and adapt to new technologies.
You have experience with public cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
You're well-versed in modern software engineering best practices and have experience across the full software development lifecycle.
You have a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
You're eager to join a start-up where you can shape and influence your role.
