About your role
As a Software Developer with Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS), you'll directly contribute to our 5-Year Digital Strategy, modernising legacy systems, building secure cloud-aligned tools, and enabling data-driven mental health care. This is your chance to develop meaningful software that clinicians use daily to improve patient outcomes.
You'll work within a collaborative digital team to design, build, and support web applications using .NET Core, Angular, Blazor, and related technologies, while also contributing to reporting solutions and cloud-based infrastructure.
About you
You're a problem solver, a systems thinker, and a developer who's motivated by meaningful work. You have strong technical capability in full-stack Microsoft development and a passion for building tools that empower clinical teams.
You'll bring:
Proven experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Strong SQL Server skills including stored procedures and database design.
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL, Functions) and cloud-hosted environments.
Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
A strong grasp of user-centred design, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices.
Experience in agile teams and collaborative delivery environments.
Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID).
(Desirable) Understanding of RESTful APIs and FHIR standards for healthcare interoperability.
