What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: In this position, you will get to: • Exercise your full-stack developer skills, with a focus on front-end development. • Build modern and responsive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and IoT solutions. • Work in a highly collaborative Agile team environment to deliver industry-leading digital solutions. • Cultivate a strong DevOps culture, implementing software tests and developing infrastructure as code along with the application code. • Leverage and develop your leading-edge cloud software skills into nVent's growing digital product portfolio. • Effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts with peers, team members, as well as non-technical staff and business stakeholders. • Learn, develop and grow your architectural skills with the support of senior architects in global team. • Develop mentorship skills by coaching and mentoring junior team members across the entire stack. • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team-first culture. You have: • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computing Science, or Computer Engineering, or similar technical fields, or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience with 2 years or more working on a software development team with object-oriented programming. • Proven experience with 2 years or more in cloud-based web technologies. • Proven experience with 1 year or more working on front-end development in TypeScript and Angular or equivalent. • Familiar with Web UI technologies and frameworks, IoT, core cloud technologies, micro-services, RESTful APIs, and JSON. • Experience working in Lean, Agile, and/or DevOps software development environments will be considered an asset. • Experience working in distributed version control system, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) will be considered an asset. • Experience in Amazon AWS and Amazon AWS Lambda technologies will be considered an asset. • Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and/or Terraform technologies will be considered an asset. • Experience in front-end development with React will be considered an asset.
