Role: Software Developer
Location: India (Remote)
Job Type: Full time / Contract
A high growth Canadian startup is looking for a Software Developer to join as a key team member in the Technology team in Toronto. This team member will be working closely with our team to build our products and services in the fast-paced niche e-commerce marketplace space.
This role enables you to work closely with business stakeholders and create software based on the business requirements. Not only will you be developing applications, you will be working at finding solutions to problems and analysing data, applying various data analysis tools including the possibility of ML and AI to our datasets. As you will be working with stakeholders you must be available during eastern time work hours.
The key skills we are looking for are:
· Strong knowledge of Node.js, Docker
· Experience working with WebSockets using Socket.IO
· Experience with FeathersJS is an asset
· Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
· Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters
· Experience in Data Sciences and Processing is an asset
· Experience with cluster networking and micro-services
· Strong experience with PostgreSQL
