Software Engineer needs to develop mobile apps as per requirements with all coding standards taking into consideration.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and develop applications with coding standards into consideration.
Should be able to finish tasks on time with maximum transparency.
Should have communication skills as to communicate with client and team.
Contribute towards creating code repository and help other junior members of team.
Should have knowledge of working on version control systems like SVN and GIT.
Analyze risks and should be able to mitigate those on time.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Minimum Requirements
Proficient with Android app development & Kotlin
Should have good core Java skills (Multi-threading, Collection Framework is a must)
Should have experience of completing an app from scratch.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Strong software design and coding skills (MVC, MVP, and MVVM pattern)
Should have knowledge of Dagger2, Retrofit2, RxJava, and other latest tools and techniques.
Should have knowledge of latest code changes in Android and their limitations.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect android applications to back-end services.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
Familiarity with continuous integration.
