Position - Software Developer (Autonomous Driving)
Function - Department : R&D: Function Development
Reporting to Team Lead – Software and Automation
CANDIDATE PROFILE: Educational Qualification M Tech/ BE- Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology
Total Years of Experience: 2 to 4 Years (L/M)
Relevant Experience: Software Development Relevant Industries Automotive (preferred but not limited to)
RESPONSIBILITIES: REQUIREMENTS -TASKS
• Participate in the whole development process from requirements to implementation and test
• Develop software with C++14 and CUDA on cutting edge hardware
• Ensure high code quality in safety-critical applications in compliance with MISRA/Adaptive Autosar
• Integration of partner software into the legacy software stack
• Enhance AV software stack development process and tooling
• Drive the technological change in the automotive industry
• Development of methods, tooling, and acceptance criteria.
• The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas.
Must-Have:
• Experience in the software development in Automation or similar high-tech projects
• Very good knowledge of software engineering processes including testing
• Strong C++ skills, modern C++14 techniques, and extensive programming knowledge
• High measure of self-initiative and excellent problem-solving skills
• Passionate for clean, reliable, and optimized code
• Experience with ROS2 and GPU/CUDA programming would be an advantage
• Flexibility for international travel (e.g. 3 months)
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented personality
Good to Have:
• Strong Python and Data Science skills, strong skills on AWS
• Experience with automotive embedded systems, AV stack, Gitlab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experiences in data-driven software development (e.g. machine learning, sensor data, and computer vision: (IR) camera, lidar, and radar)
• Able to handle Version and requirement management tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working.
• Global professional experience, especially in Europe or Germany is a plus
• Software Skills: Linux, Python, MISRA, C/C++, ADTF/ROS2, GIT, CI/CD Pipeline, Tensorflow/Pytorch, DriveOS
Language skills:
• Must be fluent in English
