Job Title: Software Engineer
Salary Range: £28,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Base Location: Belfast
Role Type: Full Time permanently
Company Profile: Pentagon Solutions is a leading provider of BIM consultancy, CAD technologies, and engineering content and asset management solutions in the UK and Ireland.
Position: Pentagon Solutions would like to recruit a software engineer to work with our solutions team and assist with the delivery of bespoke solutions and an in-house suite of developed products. The role is ideal for anyone who enjoys being busy, working in a team, and working with modern, innovative companies that span the globe.

Required Skills
We are seeking candidates who have knowledge and experience in:
Essential
· A high standard of English, both verbal and written
· VB.Net, C#.NET, ASP.NET / Microsoft .NET Framework
· Enterprise software implementation
· Asset or Content Management Solutions
· Visual Studio IDE
Preferred
· SQL database design and development
· Problem-solving skills
· Experience in software product lifecycle
· Using GIT repositories for source code management
· Software Testing – methodologies and tools
· Production of technical documentation
· JavaScript development
· ASP.NET
Nice to Have
· Support of production software and systems
· Experience developing integrations with or plug-ins for CAD applications or other 3rd party systems
· jQuery
The primary location for the role will be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. However, the candidate may be required to work in various locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the wider Pentagon team in an office environment supporting the success of our many customer and in-house projects.
Pentagon Solutions will provide any necessary industry-standard training and is keen to recruit an individual who aspires to develop their knowledge and skills to a high level of professional expertise within the industry.
