Position Summary
The software developer position is with a key global team, ICE (International Centre of Expertise) providing critical business focused support and change management to all our Revenue Management and Telecommunications customers around the world. Based in the UK team you will work together with global teams to deliver a unique round the clock, code development, and support service to our customers. This recruitment will join our growing diverse team to deliver solutions to our existing businesses and exciting new transformations across the world.
Role & Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver production fixes
• Develop and deliver change requests
• Investigations and debug complex issues
• Work on production issues, in production timelines
• Provide weekend on-call support on a rota basis
• Work as part of a global team
• Ensure completion of issues within established SLAs
• Visit customer site and provide On-site consultancy
Experience And Requirements
• Programing languages: C++, Java
• Database technology: Oracle , PostgreSQL , Cassandra
• Operating system: Redhat Linux : Debian Linux
• Experience working with enterprise customers
• cloud computing experience
• Demonstrable problem solving skills
• Experience in working with large data sets
• Experience in software support (reproducing issues / fixing bugs)
• Expertise in configuring large scale systems
• Experience of Devops pipelines
• This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum 3 days per week onsite in Cambridge
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, computer sciences, mathematics, engineering or a similar field
