We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business issues, and providing technical leadership within the team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to explore the latest technologies and influence the future direction of our software development efforts. The role requires a strong background in various coding languages with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging in all stages of software development, and be comfortable addressing undefined and ambiguous software problems. Developer will work with project managers, department heads, designers, and field technicians to troubleshoot software issues, clarify system processes, and create new applications to meet the needs of clients.
Responsibilities
• Debugging, maintaining, and restructuring problematic written code.
• Identify, record, and document programming errors.
• Provide technical support to staff members as well as clients, resolving issues with associated drafting & mapping software.
• Identify root causes of non-conforming software and finding solutions while minimizing downtime.
• Define and structure new projects, clearly conveying objectives to upper management.
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing programs to improve functionality.
• Integrate multiple applications to exchange data, process and reformat information, and generate outputs in various formats as required for different departments.
• Work within AWS cloud environments, including S3, RDS, EC2 to manage database instances and resolve issues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development or Master's degree with 2 years of experience
• Proficient in SQL, C++, Java, or other programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll-up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse workload and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.
