Job Description
JOB CODE: CDE03-CODESYS
As a confident and competent personality, you are responsible for:
• Developing the PLC applications and reusable software components on CODESYS/Rockwell/Mitsubishi/Omron PLCs
• Implementation of sample & consumer PLC applications involving devices
• Designing and developing the software applications for controllers
• Working in a team spread over multiple geographies
Candidate's Profile
Education: Masters Degree / Bachelor’s Degree" in Computer Sc./Instrumentation Engr. (or related)
Work Experience: 3+ years of experience as PLC software developer x
Methodologies
• Knowledge in Structured Software Development Processes ( i.e. V - Model )
• Knowledge in Requirements Engineering and Management
• Developing environments /Tools
• Knowledge of CODESYS based systems (Preferably v3.5 or higher)
• Knowledge of programming Rockwell/Mitsubishi/Omron PLCs
• Knowledge of programming "OpenPLC" platform
• Knowledge in Windows/Linux based programming (C/C++)
Programming Languages
• Proficient in Structured Text (ST)
• Knowledge of Ladder (LD), Function Block Diagrams (FBD)
• Knowledge in Python or other scripting languages
Applications
• Experience in developing PLC based applications, preferably in ST language
Knowledge
• Familiarity with Fieldbus (Ethernet/IP, TCP, CAN) and other industrial communication protocols
• Familiarity with making visualizations in Codesys IDE
Tools
• Experience with Polarion software
• Experience with standard software development tools (Subversion, Doxygen, etc.)
• Communication Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Basic German (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel: Stay in Germany for several weeks
