Introduction

The IBM CIO Technology Platform Transformation team plays a crucial role in modernizing and optimizing IBM's technology infrastructure and platforms. The team aims to power AI-enabled experiences through AI-first technology platforms that enable and streamline existing processes, enhance security, and improve user experience by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.

Driving the adoption of emerging technologies to optimize and automate various business functions, keeping an AI-first approach with a Digital Experience.

Enable Best in Class IT with Enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.

Modernizing legacy systems and integrating disparate applications to improve interoperability and reduce technical debt.

Collaborating with other departments and teams to align technology efforts with broader corporate objectives.

Providing guidance and expertise on technology trends, best practices, and standards.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Deliver AI agents and automated solutions that remove repetitive work performed by the tribe supporting the Corporate Mobile Service Plan (“CMSP”).

Partner with the CMSP team member across the countries, discover and prioritize CMSP processes and procedures to be automated, taking advantage of the vast amounts of data, and delivering on Watsonx.

Build the required data models and leverage Watson Orchestrate and Watson Assistant to simplify processes and eliminate tedious tasks.

Use both readily available data, such as in the CMSP dashboard, eAMT, Mobile@IBM, IBM Publisher, and other sources to drive faster decision making and increased end user self-service.

Innovate, simplify and automate processes to improve the CMSP user experience.

Explore the user requests that require intervention, where answers are not in Publisher or in the individual’s subscriber account in the CMSP dashboard. Automate the resolution of complex requests.

Work Includes
• Understanding and addressing user and business requirements including technology, integration, security, and privacy
• Planning, analyzing, designing, and constructing databases in alignment with CIO-TPT strategy
• Designing, developing, testing, and delivering apps and features using Watsonx.data, Code Assistant, Orchestrate and Assistant; Java; C++; JavaScript; Python; Perl; and SQL, as needed
• Configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting of code that enables simplified and automated workflows
• Performing problem determination to address problem root cause and application of preventative measures to prevent or mitigate problem recurrence
• Identifying opportunity to modernizing applications using state of the art technologies, software project management tools, and methodologies
• Partnering with colleagues across the CIO organization, such as Identity Services and others to ensure solution design is in alignment with CIO strategies and architectures
• Partnering with suppliers of CMSP services to deliver a seamless, integrated enterprise mobile offering
• Keeping up with developments in the AI solutions space and software project management spaces to continue to grow and deepen skills and apply leading future-proof solutions
• Maintaining consistency with global CMSP standards, including design and content of CMSP country Publisher pages
• Providing support to, and collaborating with, other CMSP Product Owners globally to maintain alignment
• Delivering effective technical presentations to stakeholders, including leaders, articulating value, dependencies, business implications to have clarity for non-technical team members
• Achieving OKRs and KPI parameters, e.g.: enabling cost reduction, maintaining a security-compliant device portfolio, zero or very few “stock” lines, etc.
