The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional systemtesting, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved tobecome the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Gridsbusiness Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’sunits in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Gridbusiness. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than80 countries.
Your responsibilities
Design software solutions suiting business needs with appropriate technology.
Design, develop, and maintain both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using JavaScript,HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C# and ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Windows services, and ADO.NET.Write readable, extensible, testable code.
Create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and existing code, with a goalof delivering defect-free and well-tested code to QA.
Write and maintain documentation for new and existing features.Analyse written specifications and user needs to determine technical implementation.
Conduct design and code reviewsand collaborate to ensure the code passes review.
Expertise in Migrating window-based application to web-based application.Lead the development of specific tools/applications.Search and implementation of the latest technologies that can be used by Hitachi Energy.Constantly improving the way work is done.

Senior Software Engineer
BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science or Information technology.
More than 8+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET MVVM, Web API.
Hands on experience in Windows & web services, WCF.
Good Knowledge & experience in JavaScript, React.Js, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3.
Good Knowledge & experience in ADO.NET & LINQ to SQL.
Understanding of web technology stack, including HTTP, REST, cookies, caching, and asset loading.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience in Scrum / DevOp working models.
Certification in Windows & web-based applications development (optional
