- Development of embedded Linux/Android based software components in the connected car & infotainment area
- Creation of customer-specific software solutions in the field of Connected Car functions like telematic and infotainment
- Cooperation in building a complex software system that serves as a platform for innovative internet-based services and applications for the vehicle of the future
- Responsibility for software functions including high-level design for embedded Linux automotive control units
- Analysis and extension of existing software modules according to customer requirements
- Analyze and establish security requirements for systems/networks
- Defining security concepts
- Compliance with SW requirements within an agile development approach
- Support for hardware development team during board bring up
- Cross-functional diversified tasks
- Working in an international project team
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Several years of professional experience as an embedded software developer
- Experience building complex, embedded software, middleware and OS (RTOS, Linux/Android/QNX)
- Good Knowledge of C and C ++
- Broad range of experience on audio/video, networking, cameras, sensors, graphics and/or low-level programming
- Good knowledge of software integration and software testing
- Knowledge of SCRUM / agile development processes
- Great communication skills, and able to communicate efficiently at different levels to different audience
- Domain expertise in Infotainment and/or Connected Car is strongly desired
