Role: Software Testing Engineer – Banking Applications
Functional Area: Experienced Quality Assurance (Techno Functional, Automation, API, DB)
Relevant experience: 3-7 years
Technical Skills: 
Experience to develop and to execute test suites using Jira, Azure DevOps and open source tools; 
Experienced in integrating test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; 
Experienced in SDLC, STLC and Agile Process; 
Experienced in reviewing requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual and automation testing. 
Experienced in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the QA process. 
Have worked with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain a build verification (“smoke”) test. 
Experienced in proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used. 
Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, perf analysis and remediation. 
Keeps updated with emerging technology innovations, improvements.
General Skills: 
Detail oriented. Takes initiative, and ready to take ownership, displays commitment. 
Exhibit a demeanour of professional pessimism; i.e., in a pleasant and non-confrontational fashion work with determination to find, document, and advocate the repair of bugs. 
Learning Attitude for Automation Testing, Performance Testing and other Testing and QA Process 
Should be open to work in a startup environment and have confidence to deal with complex issues and tackle high pressure situations focussed on solutions.
Education & Experience: 
At least an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferably from a Tier 1 college. BE preferred. 
3-7 years of financial software testing experience
